Music Ministry: Singers and instrumentalists join in raising a new song to God. Choir sings every Sunday at 11:30 am and on major feast days.

It’s time to join up! Service is our password and having fun while preparing liturgy is our way. The St. Francis Xavier Choir is looking for new members now. We have an exciting year planned with music for all the liturgies and major feasts. A pleasant voice, the ability to sing in harmony, and showing up regularly are the only requirements. Reading music is a plus, but not a necessity. Rehearsal are Thurs. nights from 7-9:30 and we sing at the 11:30 service on Sundays. We always are looking for new members and now is the time to act. Bell Ministry:
We have just augmented our bell collection with a third octave thanks to a grant from the Helen Clay Frick Foundation. This is an exciting development! Now is the time for us to continue formation of our dedicated bell choir. If you have some minimal music reading ability (which you can always develop after you join) and can join us at the major feasts: Christmas and/or Easter, you are a prime candidate for this choir. We rehearse Wed. evenings from 7-9 and also play occasionally at Sunday liturgies. Instrumental Music at Sunday 5pm Mass
After a very successful inaugural year, the Music Ministry is also looking to add new members to the ensemble. This past year, we've had mandolin, classical guitar, oboe, and clarinet, as dwell as a guest pianist. Other instruments are welcome. We will gather at 4pm and play at 5pm.
