TOWN HALL ON THE EVOLUTION OF XAVIER’S PLEDGE FOR RACIAL JUSTICE
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16 AT 7PM
VIA ZOOM(Zoom Link)

For over a year now, Xavier parishioners have reaffirmed our Pledge for Racial Justice(https://sfxavier.org/2020/12/a-pledge-for-racial-justice/) after each Mass. In July, the Pastoral Council convened a Town Hall to gather parishioners’ thoughts about the Pledge, and how it might evolve to reflect our community’s commitment to dismantling systemic racism.

As a follow-up to that meeting at the request of the Pastoral Council, a small group of parishioners has developed a proposal to both revise the content of the Pledge and to consider its place in our communal life. This group includes two parishioners who participated in developing the original Pledge that has served us well this past year.

All members of the Xavier community are welcome to a Town Hall to be held to discuss this proposal, to be held on Zoom on Tuesday, November 16 at 7pm. Please mark this date in your calendar if you would like to attend.
